MTN please cancell my contract.

<p>I requested early termination fees from MTN and got this reference number ********** 9. I then paid the requested amount and submitted proof through the same reference number. The issue is I want to cancel my contract number ********** 543. I have tried since then to call the retentions department but they are not accessible these days. The only way is through their email but they don't respond timeously unlike before. There used to be a phone number for the retentions department but not anymore. I have been trying to call the call centre via 808 and would supply my reference number but i would be made to continue holding until the call itself drops. Its expensive to settle a cellphone contract and now that i have done so, i don't expect to remain on contract with this number ********** 543 and risk incurring further charges through their unreasonable credit limit available on the same number which is debt trap. Can someone please help. </p>
