MTN - Please cancel my Contract already.

I have been trying to Cancel my MTN Contract for a while now. First I am told I will be charged R1000 Penalty for canceling early, which I don't mind as long as it reflects on the contract I signed and then every time I call I get cut off. I will be staying on Vodacom and won't ever get talked into a 36 month contract again. Shame on you MTN for having zero customer service and blatantly fleecing a customer who has been with you guys for more than 20 years.
