MTN Play / CandyPop.mobi Unauthorised Subscription
I've been subscribed to some CandyPop service from MTN Play and this has been done without my consent. I managed to unsubscribe by dialing *123*2# and selecting Manage to Opt Out. But now I see there is another content service called TANGO, but when I try to unsubscribe I get an error "Dear User, your unsubscription request failed, Please try aftr some time"
When I dialed *141*5# and choose Content Services I got a response "You are currently not subscribed to any content services". What is the use of this option if I was clearly subscribed to this Candypop ****! I was not even notified about the TANGO junk, so how on earth does this happen and how can MTN allow it?
This is the SMS I got yesterday: Yello! Thank You for subscribing to the Candypop service at R3.03/day. 1st day FREE. For Candypop videos visit: http://bit.ly/2DqNtgN . To opt out dial *464*970#. Ts&Cs mtnplay.co.za For support dial 135.
And this morning I got this one: Yello! Thank You for subscribing to the Candypop service at R3.03/day. 1st day FREE. For Candypop videos visit: http://bit.ly/2DqNtgN . To opt out dial *464*970#. Ts&Cs mtnplay.co.za For support dial 135.
Since I am up for an upgrade I might as well just cancel my contract with you and move over to another operator, because I've been a loyal customer for many many years. Is this how you treat your loyal customers by *****ing from them?
I am not interested in calling a call centre to get this resolved, who will pay me for the time I already lost writing this review. Can I send you a bill MTN?
