MTN Play airG - Rogue Subscription

<p>Warning: </p> <p>I have just received an sms notification that I am subscribed to MTN Play airG!</p> <p>The message reads as follows: Reminder: You are subscribed to MTN Play airG * R2/Day. For help call + ********** 7985. To unsubscribe click here http://m.airg.xa/out</p> <p>I did not subscribe to this service, have never received any benefit from the subscription and in fact have no idea what it even offers. I only received a reminder after a month... no other contact or service. This has cost me R2.00 per day this last month. </p> <p>I often delete unsolicited sms's without checking and might have overlooked this one.</p> <p>MTN say this is in no way connected to them and if one goes onto the internet the offer may pop up and you unknowingly subscribe.</p> <p>I would like to know if MTN are trying to do anything about it since their name is associated and they are immediately assumed to be responsible.</p> <p>So be warned...</p>
