MTN Play AirG
I have been receiving messages from MTN as follows :
Reminder: You are subscribed to MTN Paly airG * R3.03/Day. To Opt out dial *464*970#
When I called the customer care line the lady told me that I was in fact subscribed to this service and had been for some time, I asked her to tell me where I had signed or subscribed to this service and she said it is not a service you sign for.
I would never commit myself to a service that I didn't sign for AND one that is a game / music site - I don't think so - this is just shocking that they can just dip into your pocket like this.
I have ordered them to end my subscription (lets see how well that goes) but more importantly I would like the money refunded for a service I didn't want / didn't sign for and don't use

Please note that there are different content charges. One way of removing them is by dialing *136# and follow the MTN play option until you get to manage subscriptions. The second way to remove the said charge is by logging on to your browser from your device. I have attached the below instructions in order to remove the charge:
Q - How do I cancel a subscription?
Visit the ‘My Subscriptions’ category under ‘My MTN Play’ at WWW.MTNPLAY.CO.ZA on your mobile device. Select the subscription and deactivate.
