MTN : Phone Number conversion [#***] Contract to Prepaid on a deceased user.

I have been attempting to convert an MTN contract phone to a prepaid for a deceased family member. It’s been a month of going back and forth with responses only getting back to me literally a week a part. I went into the stores and I couldn’t get helped instead I was referred to ***. From this mailbox I get incomplete instructions and a month later I’m being asked to pay for the previous month with consumption I did not use.
