MTN Phone Contracts Are a ****

I took a contract of 24 months for a Huawei cellphone and smar****ch. The device had those minutes and data you get every month. I was told by MTN Consultant that nearing the 24th month, I must call them on the 23rd month to cancel, so that after my last payment, the number will be prepaid. And cancelling a month earlier avoids penalties. I took the advise and did exactly that. On the 25th month, MTN billed me and when I asked why did you debit money from my account they tell me it is device cancelation fee. What I never informed about. What is device cancelation when I have finished paying the contract and technically the device is now mine? Consultants did not help and told me to email the retentions department and I did to request my refund as I have had contracts before like Telkom and was never charged for cancelling the contract at the end of its terms. Its been 8 days with no response from MTN. I want my R 435.75. There is no device cancellation, you just fooled me and blame it on the consultants. I hate MTN and never again will I ever take anything from you.
