MTN Pathetic Service. Porting, RICA Number. Centurion Mall Store

Me and my wife wanted to port our numbers over from another mobile provider (Telkom mobile) to MTN. We went to the MTN Store in Centurion Mall. The person that helped us was very unhelpful and also did not have any knowledge of the process or their prepaid products. He RICA'd the SIM cards and told us that if it does not work we have to go RICA the SIM cards again - great service. Afterwards, we received two sms's. The last one saying that the port has been processed. After waiting a few hours, I inserted the new SIM into my phone, only to be told that the number has not yet been RICA'd.

I have come to the conclusion that MTN offers the same pathetic service as Telkom and Telkom Mobile. Please everyone, steer clear of MTN. I will be trying out another network provider.
