MTN PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have been an MTN contract holder since 1999.

In August 15 I damaged the screen of my IPhone 6 and made an application at MTN The Glen to have the phone repaired. 3 weeks later Smartphoneplus contacted me to say that they would collect my phone a week later, however there were no loan phones available and they wanted my iTunes username and password, which I was not willing to give. I told them to contact me when a loan phone was available, and I would factory restore the phone. To date no news from them.

In October I then wrote to MTN Insurance and asked that another repairer be used, or that I have the phone repaired and they make payment for the repair. I received an automated mail stating they would get back to me in 5 days. Surprisingly, no response to date!

Almost 3 weeks ago I took my phone to MTN the Glen and asked them to arrange that it was repaired. I was promised that as a result of the run around that I have had they would have the phone repaired in a week. Well 3 weeks are almost up. and no phone. I have tried to call as many numbers that I can to get an update but like MTN reception, there are no answers.

On contract expiry I become a Vodacom client!
