MTN - Pathetic and unprofessional service provider

MTN is the most pathetic and unprofessional service provider! I have been trying to contact their customer care line today wrt a sms I received indicating that they could not get hold of me in order to finalize the contract. I have not taken out a new contract and wanted to know if this is maybe not **********. Had to phone 3 times holding on like for 30-45 min and listening to the highly irritating offerings and options before eventually able to speak to someone. The options also do not all work as you have an option of pressing 0 to speak to someone to get told that it is not valid. Just to get told that I must phone another number. Everytime they want your whole pedigree. Actually amazed that they did not ask for the size of my underwear.

When you eventually speak to someone you hear a baby in the background crying and like someone is washing dishes or throwing things around. Constantly also being asked if I can please repeat things. Maybe if they were more professional it would help.

Yes I know that most staff from call centres are working from home, but come on guys, this is not the way to go. Have a good idea to cancel my contract.
