Mtn owes me credit and still waiting. Reference no. ***
Mtn south africa owing me credit on my account. MTN had a glitch with their systems which activated spend limit on my account resulting in spend usage increasing on secondary line. I called customer service and logged the query with them beginning of October 2019. I was told by they customer care consultant that indeed they had a system glitch and will be logging my query with the relevant department within mtn to reset my spend usage limit. Middle of October 2019 i receive sms that I need to pay R 141.55 within two days to avoid suspension of my account. I called customer service again and asked them why I received an sms with an amount of R 141.55 as my normal monthly bill is R109.00. She said it was because of the glitch with they system which resulted in my monthly bill been higher. She told me to pay my normal R109.00 but I paid R142. 00 which means mtn owes me credit of R32 on my account. As soon as I made payment I made contact with mtn customer service again as I was not seeing any change in my monthly bill. I spoke to a consultant named Thabo. He gave me reference number for my query and told me my query has been logged with accounts department. 3 days after that I checked my account account but still no credit has been passed on my account. I called again on a Tuesday at night and spoke to a different mtn consultant and explained my issue but he couldn't help me and I asked to be transferred to his supervisor who's name is Frank. He couldn't help me and told me credit gets done in batches and by Friday my account should be credited.. Today is 30th October 2019 and my account is still not credited. *** reference number..
