MTN Overcharging my account

I signed a data contract with MTN mid May for 5G at R199 per month. MTN did not debit my account end of May and they said they will charge me end of June which will include my May prorate charge as well as the full June amount which I understood completely. Keeping in mind that my contract is R199 p/m I am expecting MTN to debit ATMOST R400 end of June, however end of June (25th) MTN debits R698.68 out of my account which is more than triple my contract amount. I called MTN customer service on the 27th of June to make them aware that they have overcharged my account. They told me that according to their system I signed a contract for R270 they advised me to go to the branch where I signed my contract because they would not be able to help me over the phone. I than called MTN Midrand (Boulders) and also went physically and spoke to the branch manager Patience who told me she found my contract and agrees that I have signed for R199 pm and indeed I am being over charged and she logged a call to MTN head office for a refund. However a week later no refund had taken place, I returned to MTN Midrand on the 5th July where I was advised that the branch manager is no longer working there and my query will have to start from scratch. I was than assisted by a guy called Collin who initially helped me open the contract. He review my account and said he does not understand why MTN is overcharging me and he does not see where the problem is. He said he will sleep on it and try and assist me the next day because the store was about to close. He told me to return after a few days. I returned on the 8th of July thinking I had given him more than enough time to get the issue resolved. When I arrived at MTN he (Collin) just gave me a paper with a USD number ********** and said I should call MTN customer service on Monday (Today 11 July). I just called MTN and spoke to a lady called Ziyanda who was very impatient with me and after explaining my story to her she tells me I should go back to MTN Midrand and they are the only people who can assist me. I cannot be running around in circles for more than two weeks and the next person sends me to the next. Especially when MTN has my signed contract for R199 and they realised I am being over charged and none of them can do anything to help me. I am frustrated and afraid that end of this month I will be over charged again and I cannot afford to be paying more than what I signed for. MTN needs to do something about this. And the fact that one of the consultants told me that they cannot do anything about my issue is unacceptable. This is my first contract I’ve opened with MTN and I was looking forward to opening a cell phone contract with them but after the service I have received I am forced to reconsider.
