MTN overbilled me

Hi, I just to express how saddened I am about MTN's lack of care once one has taken out a contract from them.

1. I bought 2GB of data and at the end of the month I was charged for an additional 5GB of data that the consultant had apparently approved by accident.

I have continuously called MTN for the past two weeks, but I keep on getting the answer, "I am sending this query to the supervisor incharge and she will get back to you as soon as possible". I don't know whether MTN thinks that I am going to just let my R435 (caused by their consultant which is supposedly well trained by MTN to do their job properly) to just slide.

Please assist me by intervening in this matter.

Thank you for your post.

We apologize for any inconvenience incurred.

Kindly be advised that the billing department informed us they do not take ownership if the agent loaded extra services the agent need to take full responsibility. However we do pick up that you have used the the 5GB loaded incorrectly.

MTN is willing to assist with a 50% goodwill credit against the 5GB service charges, if the 5GB has not been used the full credit was owing to you.

The credit of R 175.00 will be passed to the account and reflect next week.

Kind Regards.

Alice van der Merwe

Best regards,
