MTN outgoing mail server down for more than a day!

MTN outgoing mail server down since yesterday afternoon the 3rd of February 2016. Everything works as I receive mail and I can browse the internet. Definitely a SMTP server related issue as nothing has changed on my PC. This morning my mails will still not go through. I have orders and proof of payments to go out that I have always preferred to use in this way.<br> <br> Contacted MTN via support number 1555. The person assisting me tells me that they are aware of the problem now and it could take up to a day to resolve??? I'm already offline and can't send mails for more than a day!! How do I operate if my business relies on emails?? Poor pathetic service!!! How can a large company like MTN not have a backup SMTP server to operate from??
