MTN OTTERY VERY BAD SERVICE

3 February 2023 at about 9:30 AM I went to the MTN store in Ottery to request a Sim Swop as my sim no longer 'showed' on my phone. After going through the procedures and acquiring a new sim for the swop and paying for the swop, I was told to wait 24 hours before inserting the new sim. I diligently waited and subsequently inserted the new sim the following day at about 10AM only to find out the the swop did not take place. This had a huge impact on my work and also on my banking details and other apps connected to my original cell number. I was extremely frustrated and tried calling the store number- NO RESPONSE. after several attempts. I worked over the weekend and went to the store on Monday 06 February 2023 after work. ( I took off a bit earlier to sort out my Sim Swop. The lady at the MTN Store told me that they had a problem with Sim Swops. After expressing my frustration, she took down my details and told me that she would immediately escalate it to her store manager to request an immediate Sim Swop. Needless to say, I had to pay for another Sim Card. She promised to call me as soon as it was done. 2 days later, and NOTHING. NO RESPONSE on the Store contact number ***. This now requires me to take off from work, to go to the store again. THEY ARE A USELESS bunch of empty promises with ZERO Service delivery.
