MTN Opt Out is a CON, a **** and a way to force adverts on thier clients.

I have tried every recommended way to stop MTN from sending me constant sms's about various companies nonsense that I am not interested in. When I try to opt out, I get an invalid code- even though the sms says to use that code. I have done it directly through the menu and turned off all marketing- to no avail. I am so sick of these messages that after 22 years with MTN, I am contemplating switching to Vodacom. There is nothing wrong with the system- MTN just want to make as much money from advertising as possible and it is utterly DISGUSTING that they do nothing when their opt out option is a total waste of time.
