MTN OPENS ********** ACCOUNTS

Today I went to cell c to apply for a cellphone contract and they picked up that I have a contract with MTN. I went to MTN Riverside Mall and found out it was a ********** account. MTN told me that they can't cancel the ********** account... now what do we call that? Someone **********ly opens an account in my name and now I can't clear my name. what happened to Consumer rights?
