MTN online shop - no delivery of phone and NO refund

On 6 June 2019 I bought a Samsung A7 on the MTN shop online. We paid on the official site.

After about 8 queries I was advised the order was somehow cancelled. MTN has still not refunded me. Additional queries were escalated to no avail. Paid R4009, proof of payment sent 4 times. Order number ***. Have called all the call center numbers and just keep getting transferred in loops. Even went to shops.

Social media contact with MTN just keeps escalating the issue and nothing happens.

From a basic understanding of contract law, MTN is in clear breach. At least one (right 6) of the CPA consumer rights is violated.

It is very suspicious that such a big company cannot refund R4009. Even after all contact/query routes were unsuccessfully used. Except if the MTN online shop is a ****. Even the physical shop assistants say NEVER order something on the online shop...
