MTN Online Contract
I app**** for an MTN contract online. I got a call from the following number ********** . The woman on the other line called me to tell me that my contract has been approved for the iPhone 8 plus. she then proceeded to ask me for my banking details and home address for delivery of the phone. She said she would SMS me about our telephone call. I received nothing. The next day I get a call from someone at MTN asking me whether or not I received a call ( ********** ) about my phone contract being approved, I said yes and she put down the phone. She was very rude. I then tried to call the first number however I was not able to get through, I started to think that maybe this number was a **** number. I called MTN, told them about my problem and they were not able to help me. Friday last week MTN told me my contract was not approved. I want to know if that number that called me is a ****!! I refuse to pay for something that has not been approved. ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED. I don't want to be a part of a cellphone network that is unhelpful.

10 Oct 2018, 08:27I have provided MTN with my ID number and they told me that my contract application was not successful. I am not concerned about that, my issue is the cellphone that number that contacted me with regards to my cellphone contract. I want to know who they are and why they told me that my contract was approved when it wasn't. If any sort of payment is taken off my account beginning next month for a cellphone that was not approved I will be taking this matter further.
