MTN Online
On saturday 23/02/2019, MTN advertised a contract deal for the samsung galaxy S10e at R249pm.I app**** for the contract and received an email as well as a sms confirming that the online application has been submitted and a call center agent will contact me.However, when customer care was contacted, we were told that there is no such deal from MTN.This is totally unacceptable as I app**** for the contract based on what had been advertised.If MTN does not uphold the deal, it will be regarded as a discriminatory marketing practice.As per the consumer protection Act, No.68 of 2008, suppliers are NOT allowed to provide customers with FALSE, MISLEADING or DECEPTIVE representations regarding goods or services. Therefore it is in the best interest of MTN to uphold the deal that was on THEIR website.Regards
