MTN offers Apple Music but makes it impossible to cancel

It seems MTN is in the business of roping in customers to Apple Music subscriptions that are seemingly impossible to unsubscribe from. I took the 3 months' free Apple Music from MTN, and now that my contract is ending, I want to cancel it, however it seems nobody at MTN is able to do it, and I have been told to use the MTN app, the USSD menus, and even to personally visit an iStore (to cancel something offered by MTN nonetheless). I get passed from department to department and consultant to consultant, the issue has been escalated to new heights already. I was told that the contracts department 'doesn't take calls', and that the system is down, and almost every excuse imaginable. MTN has proven to be yet another example of the poor standard of customer service that we as South Africans are plagued by. MTN, please fix it, not in 24 hours, but NOW.
