MTN Number Removed from netowrk

I was working outside the coutry for a few months and returned back to SA on the 15th of December on my arrival to use my *** number. I notice this number was removed from the MTN Network. I went to the Woodlands mall in Pretoria on Friday the 18th of December to ask them why my number was removed and they told me that if i dont use the number for 3 months it will be removed. After the unfriendly service that i have received from the people at mtn WOODLANDS Playing on their phones instead of helping people that is standing around. I phoned MTN customer service still with no result either your call get dropped or there is no one to assit you. MTN who give you the right to remove my number from the MTN network without letting me know !!!!! no text message or mail to let me know that my number will be removed ... If this number is not back on the MTN network within 48 Hours i will take my business somewhere else and will nto do business with MTN again. You guys really dont think for yourself \ Put yourslef in your client Shoes "and get your act together

"""

Hello jacobadex1,

Thank you for your post

We apologize for any inconvenience incurred.

The line was disconnected due to Access for Life Business rules, which states that for a Pay As You Go number to be active on the MTN network you need to make a chargeable call or send a chargeable SMS at least once in 90 days. The number has been deactivated and recycled it is not available for reconnection.

Kind Regards
Siphumezo
