MTN number not receiving calls

MTN doesn’t care about the customer. It’s been a week sitting with the same issue. My new contract SIM card can’t receive calls. I called MTN numerous times and visited the store but no assistance. I even emailed the complaints department- they are the worst. I can’t receive calls and sms therefore can’t do any bank transactions. My life Is on standstill. I requested that they cancel my contract but the agent I spoke to shouted at me and hung up on my. I sent emails on the complaints department requesting that they cancel my contract, they only respond with references or do not respond at all. I just do not know what to do anymore. My family can’t get hold of me even when there are emergencies, work calls, nothing! Please help. I just need to get my number back so I can go back to Vodacom
