MTN not "the Boza network " anymore

I am very disappointed with the so called Bozza network as they did not brighten my day but made my weekend miserable. Someone did a sim swap on Saturday Morning for a number I have had since 2012_ ********** 359. I am beyond shocked how they managed to do the sim swap without me. I didn't even know that had happened until I was checking my Messages in the after around 4pm.

I called 135 to get assistance, I called from my other number ********** 600 and I was told by two of your agents that I needed to buy a new sim card so that you can do a sim swap reversal. I thought it was strange but since this was MTN, I dropped everything and went to the Mall to get a new sim card. When I call MTN for the 3rd time the lady that helped said that it was unnecessary to buy a new sim card, and did sim swap reversal with my original sim card, she then told me to wait until I got network then call back from my number ********** 359 , to put my number on the watchlist. As soon as I got network I called MTN for the 4th time spoke to Nyeleti, who was very *********** as she told to give her the SIM card number so she could put me on the watch list, what the hell. she is in violation of the TCF Act as she didn't know what she was doing. I was so frustrated I screamed and told to give me her to give me her supervisor or manager as I was not putting the phone down as what she is telling is nonsense, she put me on hold for over 5 minutes came back and said Hello twice and I responded she then put the phone down. Now am frustrated and very angry at the level of service am receiving. I called Again for the 5th time to 135, spoke to very efficient agent who helped me setup an additional security question and said she will give it to her supervisor to action the watch list on my behalf for I was very happy.

Sunday Morning 14 April 2019, Am checking my messages, surprise surprise I don't have network again, I call 135 immediately, and I was told that my number has now been ported to Cell C the lady I speak to give me ********** 667, she doesn't tell me that they are closed on Sunday, there are go calling them, and guess what they do work on Sunday. I am now ****ed, angry and emotionally drained.

I have now had to stop my cards and I bought a new simcard that I ricad it and got a new number, this means I have spend my day changing my life as everything I have is running of ********** 359 and MTN has allowed it to happen with this self service thing that cause my life to be on stand still. Do you have any idea just how much I am going to lose cause of this mess, I might even loose my job cause of this mess. I think MTN must pay me for my pain and suffering and all the trips I now need to make to change everything to my new number. I was not treated fairly as a customer, my information is not safe, plus as per the CPA Act I think I should report MTN services to them

MTN is not safe anymore, I have good mind of moving to another network as I now feel unsafe and that my details have been exposed and as per the POPI Act this shouldn't have happened with out me. I plan to tell everyone I know about this. This experience has ruined my life and I have to take time off unpaid leave to get everything sorted cause of this mess up.

This morning I read an article about other people who are just like me who are also MTN clients, I am very applauded as the level of service we are receiving and very worried about our safety.
