MTN not taking ***** seriously & ignoring warnings
On the 14th of December 2015 I became aware that some ********* was using my identity to open various accounts, one of them being at MTN. I contacted MTN on the very same day - 14 December to try and inform them. I was transferred numerous times and didn't get any help anywhere until I was given a ***** department number that was never answered.
I then decided to log the complaint/warning using the online ***** form and submitted the information on the very same 14th of December.
I took the extra step of going personally to the MTN branch at Carnival City on the 15th of December and the person working there scanned my ID and told me that there was no accounts opened in my name.
This weekend when my debit orders went off I saw that MTN had ****** R767.34 from my bank account and I don't have any contract with you.
I want to know what is happening as this so called ***** department number ***) your call center once again gave me does not work. Is it your policy to ignore the plight of people in my situation for your financial gain?
