Mtn not removing their credit on my credit profile after i paid them last year

I had a contract with mtn i got in arrears i settled my account last year in 2023 they removed their credit on my credit profile i sent them proof of payment they agreed i do not owe and i made sure with an agent that the contract its closed ,they confirmed. They have now rejuvenated their credit on my profile and its ruining my credit i tried calling sending emails i called spent an hour in a call with their agent trying to find out what going on because i dont not owe them how do they rejuvenate a debt that was paid i kept asking the agent what's the status on my profile in the system they do not want to disclose im not receiving messages from a different debt collector .
