MTN Not Honouring The Black Friday Deal.

I went to the MTN Woodlands store to renew my cellphone contract on 30 November 2018 for the Black Friday deal. The deal was for the Note 9 cellphone, with a free Samsung PC monitor/screen. MTN told me the deal was still running and I qualify for the deal. I was told by the MTN agent to leave my address details for them to ship the screen within a week. They gave me the Phone (Note 9) and I left the store.

I went to the store on 7 December to follow up delivery for the screen. I was told that I was in luck because the Samsung representative was in the store and he will help me to redeem the screen. He did the redeem process on the Samsung website and told me the screen will the delivered within a week. I kept on following up with both MTN and Samsung, with no response. Today contacted Samsung through their chat service and was told that I do not qualify for this deal because I redeemed the screen after 30 November.

I followed all instructions given by the MTN store. I contacted the MTN group today to escalate and was told there is nothing they can do. I have to take this up with the store (which I did). I would like MNT to honour their part of the deal.
