MTN NOT DELIVERING

Good Morning<br> <br> A few weeks ago i had a problem with sending sms's to certain no's and i phoned mnt call centre to assist me and check my phone if my settings are correct. The person that helped me gave me a code to punch in and told me to switch the phone off and then on again. My phone took long to go on so i left it circling. The next day i noticed theres no signal and i could not make or receive calls. I took my phone to the shop where i bought it and they sent it to mtn to have fixed. I was told days later that i must pay R1400 if i want my phone fixed and if i dont pay, i also dont get my phone back and that is a new phone's price. my Alcatel Idol One Touch phone is still under guarantee and i think its unfair as it was not my fault that the phone is giving no network coverage. After i punched in the code that mtn gave me, my phone got blocked. I could not make, nor receive calls. I couldnt even access my gmail and whatsapp. I am very disappointed as it was not my fault.<br> I would like you to look into the matter.
