MTN not canceling contracts after 30days notice. *********!!!!!!
I calles in on 05/07/2020 as per our Contract agreement to give 30days notice of Cancelling my contract expiring on 06/08/2020, after 36 calls I finally got through to the "Retensions Department" who logged the cancellation request for me and I was given two options, either call again on the expiry date to migrate the number to prepaid, or leave it at that to discard the number. I opted to discard the number as I no longer need it. To my suprize, according to my statement I was billed once again until the 17/08/2020 for a contract that i wasted a WHOLE ****ING day on canceling on the phone. I want this line cancelled immediately and credited for the additional charges I am billed for and have already paid. I was billed for this 17/07/2020 and debited on 05/08/2020 in advance and I made it VERY clear I want to cancel this contract. I dont understand what is going on with this MTN, after all these years this is the worst service ever received. I need you to cancell this contact with immediate effect and credit my account for the charges billed on a CANCELLED contract go listen to the recording I was told the call is recorded. I will provide the reference number below for cancellation and please don't call me, I need it cancelled we already had this conversation that simcard is not even being used at all i need it cancelled URGENTLY and provided with a CREDIT for the next month charges billed. THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE CPA
