MTN NOT ANSWERING TO CANCEL CONTRACT!!

Good day,

I've been trying to cancel my MTN contract for a whole day with no luck. The backstory is that I called them on a Friday and I got through to them and they explained how much I would need pay in order for them to cancel the contract and also said that once I do a payment that they will be able to cancel it on my next phone call. I then called them Tuesday again after making the payment during the weekend but have not been able to get through to the Retentions Department. Every time I call, I get put through only to listen to an annoying song for an hour. An hour is way too long to wait for someone to finally answer especially considering that on the Friday it took about 20 mins maximum. I would just PLEASE like to cancel my contract as discussed with the lady on Friday. Payment is already made for the cancelation fees so it's just a matter of canceling!!
