MTN Northgate – Misleading Sales & Poor Service

I went to MTN Northgate to buy a portable Wi-Fi router. I clearly stated that I already had a SIM and only needed the router. The consultant sold me a prepaid MTN router without telling me it was network-locked and non-refundable.

When I went back to request a refund or exchange, he was rude and said it wasn’t his responsibility to explain such details. This is a clear violation of the Consumer Protection Act, which requires full disclosure before purchase.
