MTN Northgate IS A FAILl‼️ Shop 240A

It’s clear MTN doesn’t really care about its customers, unless of course whatever it is, it is sale-related! I submitted my phone on 12 Dec ‘19 for repairs/warranty assessment.

I have been getting stories ever since “The courier guys are on leave” “We are waiting for the repair team to come & collect the phone”

[This is a 1 month old iPhone, I haven’t enjoyed it at all, yet MTN enjoys the benefits of my debit orders!]

I called the repair centre, & their answer was “we can’t assist you, you need to go to the store for this, because the collection ticket for your device has been cancelled” even the MTN tweeter team has been telling me the same story after telling me my case has “been escalated” twice already but it doesn’t even show!!

When I refer to the store (more than 6 times I believe), I’ve been told the ticket collection was never cancelled instead they are still waiting for the collection (SINCE 12DECEMBER2019) !!

MTN Northgate/MTN SA doesn’t care, the person who was assisting me to receive the device is no longer replying to my texts instead.

If MTN was a new company I’d say this is a ****, but it’s more disappointing because A 27 YEAR-OLD REPUTABLE SP still hasn’t mastered CLIENT-CENTRICITY!

I’m extremely mad, 6 weeks has gone by, no one calls me, no one texts me, no one emails me, I have no reference number & the H/O knows about this because this matter has been escalated twice already, but the device is till at the store in Northgate because everyone is shifting a blame and it isn’t helping me as a customer.

I told the tweeter team I’m not using my fuel anymore to go to MTN Northgate for this & that MTN will sort out this mess & deliver my phone to me once it’s been fixed! They went silent on me since that reply!

Funny enough I bought a router on contract 1st week of Jan ‘20. Northgate MTN even made sure it is delivered at my doorstep at their personal cost, and I was impressed. Clearly this was because it was a sale! #WegotU
