MTN Northgate complaint

MTN made transactions without my concern and open an insurance for my phone without informing me.The agreement was to pay contract phone cash but it was still debited from my account and it ended up costing me charges.I went to MTN Northgate branch where I got my contract from.I was called by MTN and given an option to convert my SMSes to data because I hardly use SMSes and they said the amount would remain the same but it increased regardless. MTN service is horrible,I wouldn’t recommend anyone to take a contract from them because they don’t keep promises and personal details confidential because an insurance was open without my knowledge.I spoke to Mbali from MTN claims insurance and she couldn’t assist me because they didn’t know who actually opened the insurance without my knowledge.Your confidential details aren’t safe with MTN.We also tried to call the help desk at the branch and apparently the system was down and I waited an hour. This is my second time reporting on HelloPeter and there’s no response from the MTN Northgate so their customers aren’t priority.
