MTN Northgate Competely Lying

I went to upgrade one of my company phones at MTN Northgate (inside the shopping centre) on Monday.

Firstly, I have two numbers with MTN both on a debit order, but all of a sudden only one of the numbers gets deducted.

Issues:

1. They told me one of the numbers was overdue by 90 days. (which is on a debit order). So one number goes through on a debit order, the other one with the same details all of a sudden doesn't go through on a debit order. There is R4000 outstanding, so I am happy to pay. I am then told i can't pay at the MTN shop in Northgate, i have to go to the MTN Shop on the other side of the shopping centre outside Northgate to Pay. I do do this. I am told as soon as i pay i can upgrade.

2. Go back to upgrade, and i am told i must wait until the next day because they need to process the payment on the system. No problem, MTN will drop off the phone the next day (tuesday)

3. Tuesday by 4pm still no delivery. I am called to say driver is in traffic on the way to my office. 6:30pm still no delivery.

4. Call MTN Northgate today to find out what is going on. The lady helping that was assisting me isn't at the office, but I am told that the application is still processing. The phone was never out for delivery in the first place, so the lady assisting was completely lying from the beginning. To make matter worse I am told that MTN upgrades takes a few days?? Previously i had always upgraded my MTN contracts with Autopage, and the service was much better and much faster, never 3 days.

All of this is ok, but to lie to a customer is unacceptable. In addition, to get your customer to wait for a delivery that was never going to happen is also unacceptable. I have upgraded with vodacom many times with absolutely no issues. But every time with MTN is an issue.

This type of service to your business customers is absolutely unacceptable.
