MTN no signal, no cancelation

What is happening with MTN signal in Bethlehem? I moved from Vodacom to MTN to have better signal end network connection. Currently it seems like the biggest mistake of my life. During load shedding I have absolutely no network coverage neither data nor calling. While not load shedding when power is on the coverage is so bad it is very frustrating to receive a call and the internet is so so so very slow I don't even want to use google/internet on my phone anymore. How does your cancellation policy work? How long do I have left on my contract? Customer care referred met to *** that just say they are offline the whole time. I am currently paying for something I can't use and they refuse to help me cancel. I keep following up with no response
