MTN NO HELP WITH SIM SWAP

I went to MTN Davenport to do a sim swap because my sim card is faulty. I was sent away because apparently they do not help prepaid customers with sim swaps. I was told that prepaid customers need to do the sim swap by themselves. What a waste of time, effort, and petrol to go to this shop. It seems that prepaid customers are second class citizens to MTN. Guess I will just throw away my MTN sim card and get a new one from another network...
