MTN no Customer Service at all

I recently upgraded my MTN cellphone contract, using the online platform. Thinking that it would be an easier process, but now it is just problem upon problem. My old contract is still active,as well as my new contract. I phone 135, which is supposed to be their customer care number, but they can sort out absolutely nothing. They keep on escalating the problem, or give me alternative departments to phone. To no avail. It has still not been resolved, and I am still waiting for them to come back to me, after the issue has been escalated. My second problem is that after just 2 days,my phone's speaker is not working anymore. I have to put the phone on loudspeaker in order for the person on the other side to hear me. I once again phoned 135, where they told me that MTN used an outsourced company to handle the upgrade from my side,so I must deal with them directly. Being a Saturday,I had to wait until Monday to phone the outsourced company. They keep on giving me the wrong information on the process to follow on how to get a new working phone,as the return is within 7 days. It is still not resolved, and I am still waiting for them to phone me regarding the pickup process. My third issue is that I am supposed to receive free Samsung Buds with my phone, which obviously did not come with the phone. After about 20 phone calls to so many departments, absolutely no one can tell me how to get the buds, and from which department. I am at wits end. 3 issues with one upgrade. MTN's customer care is pathetic. No one seems to know how to resolve my issues,or whom to refer me to. I refuse to pay for a phone that is faulty. And I want my free gift,as that is what they promised me. I will also not pay for 2 contracts at the end of the month, since it is an upgrade.
