MTN nightmare over night

I am very saddened by the service I am getting from MTN after such a long time with them. I have just upgraded my Data SIM card and am for the 1st time after 5years am being told there's a pro-rata for extending a contract. I got a bill for R 3278.75 last month. I called in and was advised that there was a problem with the upgrades and am not the only person experiencing this. I have upgraded the same contract over and over and I never got this. I noticed they were charging me for local content of which I never use it's a data SIM, and if am to call with it they charge it month to month. Right now my bill is said to be on the 4 thousand and some odd change range.

Am displeased with this, service is proving to be dreadful and draining.
