MTN New Contract sim swap

On the 10/04/24 I contacted MTN online for a new contract. They assured me I can keep my prepaid number so I went ahead with it. It was approved and my new Cellphone was received on the 17/04/2024. I then requested for the sim swap to be done so I can keep my number on the MTN network. MTN only received my request on the 27/04/24 for some reason. I kept following up daily regarding this issue and on the 02/04/24 the sim swap was eventually opened. I was away overseas from 01/05 - 12/05. It is now the 17/05/2024 and the sim swap is still not completed. I cannot receive any calls or sms's. I have been following up daily since the 13/05/24 and everyday the consultants can't tell me exactly what the problem is or when it will be resolved. This is probably the worst service I've received from any network carrier. I use this number for work purposes and no clients can reach me. Its been a month with the sim swop not done. I need this resolved!!!
