In April 2018 I opened a new contract with MTN. They made the mistake of putting my new contract as EFT and not debit order. I did not pay because I waited for them to debit my account. They never debited my account and ended up suspending my number. I complained at hellopeter and the next day Mike Ramaboka at Complaints Management contacted me. He informed me that he will take care of the suspended contract, which he did. I could make calls again. I told him that I don't think its fair of MTN to expect me to pay the last two weeks of April (having the contract) as well as the whole MAY when my sim card was suspended for 3 weeks! He said he will see what he can do for me and will phone me back the next day.
I NEVER received a call back from MIKE, even though he promised to call be back because I refuse to pay for April AND a full month of May where my number was suspended MOST of MAY. So I don't see why I must pay for almost two months, and I only used it April and since end of last week (when my number was no longer suspended).
Mike changed my account to debit order for the 31st of each month but since Monday I have been getting SMS's from MTN saying they are going to suspend my account because I am not paying. I do not understand because I am looking at the SMS saying you changed my account to debit order. I am so tired of MTN!!
TO DATE, I have not heard anything back from MIKE or anyone at MTN. I am unable to make payment via EFT even though they changed my account to debit order.
I AM DONE AND DO NOT WANT THIS CONTRACT ANYMORE BECAUSE ITS NOT EVEN BEEN A MONTH AND YOU GUYS ALREADY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
FORGET ABOUT ME PAYING BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN TRYING NON STOP TO GET HOLD OF YOU, BUT YOU GUYS ARE USELESS. KEEP YOUR CONTRACT (WISH I HAD A MIDDLE FINGER EMOJI FOR YOU!!!!)
