MTN Money grabers

My MTN contract expires on 11/05/2023 and I have to give 30 days notice. Today is the 11/042023. Now MTN is charging me a R350 cancelation fee. If I phone on the 11/05/2023 they say I have to give 30 days notice and then charge me for another month. How stupid is this!
