MTN misleading its customers on uncapped LTE

I was sold a month to month uncapped LTE by MTN. Was told to pay an amount of R313. On the 4th i was disconnected and informed to pay an additional amount of R495. The R495 was then paid on the 24th August. Today my line is cut out. MTN claims that payment should have been made on the 25th so they will reconnect my line only on the 1st October. If thats the case. Why was my line re-activated when i made payment on the 24th August because they claim i paid on the 28th.
