MTN ****ming subscribers who want to exit contract

I travelled almost 70 km to the nearest town to get MTN shop to assist me to Cancel my contact account,I was told that my account was handed over to legal in that case they are unable to help,and I must call a call Center, i told them I do not use MTN sim and my sim is suspended and was told that I must buy a sim so that I can use it to call for a call centre. I used my other sim form another network which caused me 500 airtime just to call for MTN call centre after that their call cantre transferred my call to their MTN legal to get exact amount owing and also a cancellation fee in order to get my contact cancelled , MTN legal did give me amount to pay to get contract cancelled and advise me that I must do the payment in the shop and a shop must assist me to call the retention call Centre to get this cancelled unfortunately it was on Sunday.I called a call centre the following day on Monday today and they acknowledged that they received my payment however they are unable to cancel as a money is short and was I advised to pay extra 235 which I did immediately with eft and afterwards when I call they said I must wait for 7 days.i have noticed that MTN is running a **** to lock customers deliberately and so that they are unable to cancel their contracts. It take me 3 hours for my call to get through to their legal department this was just to frustrate me in order to get impatient and drop call. They made it deliberately to make sure that their shop are unable to process cancellations to frustrate customers to keep them in order for their credit to accumulate because they know they keep us for 3 hours on their call centres and it is difficult for customers to use airtime to wait for such long time on call listening to their hell MTn advert and even not sure if ur call will be attended and when it is eventually attended a call centre agent pretend not hearing you and drops your call which will mean that you will need to call again to add to 6 hours which they know you can’t do that and even when you get through u not getting help and become frustrated worse while they money keep on accumulating,still don’t understand reason why shop cant do cancellations over the counter other reason already mentioned.
