MTN Me2U charges not authorised

Hi There,

I was charged for me2U transferred made on a MTN choice 50 contract after phone was ******.
The store informed me that the service needs to be activated first by me before ME2U is possible.
Yet the MTN technical ***** department insists it is a standard service that comes with the package
I have all correspondence and wish to know how do I take this further as the bill is now over R3000 due to the initial Me2U charge and monthly charges since the line was blocked in April with MTN taking 6 months to conclude their investigation.
Please help.....

Hello DanieOosthuizen,

Thank you for your post

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.

Please note that all My MTNChoice package customers have access to use the Me2U service. The charges are valid as there was no usage limit service (cap) set on your number which is why those transfers were made. On the system there are no notes proving you called to report the number as ****** and that you need to block it.
We have referred the matter to the legal department for further assistance as the account has been handed over for the amount owed.

We sincerely hope that we are able to restore your faith in us.

Kind Regards
Siphumezo
