MTN - MARKETING HARASSMENT ON A CHILDS MOBILE!
I took the time to contact MTN via their website to assist my friend’s daughter Amahle who is 9 years of age and whose mother has given her a mobile phone (oviaaaasly) so that she can get hold of her or for emergency purposes. I contacted them to request an opt out option for marketing SMS’s that Ama is being bombarded with on a several times a day basis. It is annoying and disruptive aside from disrespectful. After one snooty response I did receive a reference number which is ***; and the following day I received a confirmation that Amahle's number had been removed from the marketing SMS’s. Amahle has used the *130*603# SEVERAL times to no avail. The SMS harassment keeps coming. So having gone several routes to resolve this matter, I find myself having to reach out via social media one last time before porting out to another provider. This will mean that the whole family may report. I mean how many times does it take to ask for assistance. !!!!!!
AMAHLE'S # ***
Please do not once again tell her to use the opt out number. As I said she has tried that!!
