MTN/ MAKRO crime syndicate

Good day . On 2 occasions this year my sim card was blocked by MTN where i could not receive or make calls and no whatsapp /MMS/SMS messages could be made. The first incident occurred on 1 Novemeber 2023 where my sim card was just blocked and I immediately went to the Campus Square outlet to report the incident and i was notified by the very abrupt consultant that i should do a sim swap. This took 3 days to activate, During those 3 days my sim number was *****ulently used to purchase airtime on credit and simultaneously my Makro card account was also *****ulently misused (my makro card was still in my possession) to a limit exceeding R10 000.00. This reoccurred on the 1st December 2023 a month later whereby the same modus operandi was followed. I am not sure if there is a syndicate operating at MTN whereby sim card details are shared with ********s to perform *****ulent transactions and then the numbers are reinstated. I cannot understand why i had to do a sim swap when my sim card was blocked by MTN for no apparent reason when i enquired. i am now concerned that the perpetrators could have access to many other accounts linked to my cell number... my contact ***
