MTN makes it impossible to end a 24 month contract in the 24th month

Phoned today to cancel my MTN contract that will reach the end of the 24 month term on 11 November.

This is in accordance with the 1 month notice period that MTN requires. After waiting for 30 minutes to speak to an agent, he says that I must phone on 6 December to cancel. This is 1 month after the 24 month contract.

Furthermore, the 6th is a Sunday, I had to tell him that it is a Sunday, he then tells me to call on the 7th.

Why is it so difficult to cancel a contract with MTN???

Never taking another contract with these *********** *****s again!!!!
