MTN makes cancelling a contract nearly impossible

Canceling a contract with MTN is nearly impossible. I have been trying since the beginning of April 2021. Issues experienced : call center dropping my call, MTN system issues so cannot get assistance, holding on for over an hour for the retentions department to answer, misinformation on the correct number to call, i have even received an sms confirming the contract is canceled but I still got charged and this morning i am informed that my contract is not cancelled. Further more one cannot cancel in a store, only via the MTN call centre. Come on MTN, you need to improve your customer service, this will help brighten my day!
