MTN lte home router Ripoff
I ordered an LTE home router package 110gb. The router and sim got delivered last week Wednesday 29/07/2020. The sales consultant only explained that it would take 24hours to activate. After 24hours,30/07/2020 I called the mtn activation department, then only they did the activation, and was advised to wait a further 24hours. - after waiting a further 24 hours, it was still not activated. 31/07/2020, I was then referred to the Rica department to sort this out and was again advised to wait another 24hours but a helpful lady named Lerato sorted everything thing out and even called me back to check if I have connection. From the 1/08/2020, the router has been working intermittently with me having to restart every hour. On Sunday 02/08/2020 the router stopped working at all. Today 03/08/2020, after numerous calls and dropped calls, a lady named Ntombi refreshed the modem/sim from her side and it started working - it only worked for an hour and then it stopped working Could MTN please sort this out asap because I dont have airtime to spend hours on the phone again.
Secondly, the sales consultant told me that the data would be pro-rata for July as I only received the package on the 29th. However, when I logged into my account - I am being billed R885 for July and August. How is this bill calculated? As I only got connected to the network on the 31st of July? The package that I took is 110gb day and 110gb night for R499. If I deduct R885 from R499 = R386 - so I am being billed R386 for 1 day of July????
Further, on my mtn account I am only loaded with 30gb for the month.
Could you please sort this out immediately. This is *****!!!
