mtn lte cancellation

I am writing this review to warn others about the profoundly frustrating and inefficient experience I have had trying to cancel my MTN LTE internet service. The complete lack of internal coordination and clear process has made cancellation an impossible task. My attempt to cancel began two weeks ago when I was first instructed to visit a physical store. Yesterday, on 25 September 2025, I called again and received the same instruction. Today, on 26 September 2025, I went to the Kolonade Retail store as directed. However, upon arrival, the store assistant informed me that they could not accept the router without a "delivery note," which I had never been told about before. I was instructed to call the customer service line (135) to obtain one. What followed was a perfect example of corporate incompetence. I spoke to four different representatives across both Sales and Customer Service departments. Each one claimed they could not help me and passed me on to someone else, leading to an endless loop of transfers with no resolution. After wasting hours of my time across two weeks, including a pointless trip to the store, I was left with no viable option. The company’s systems are so broken that they cannot even process a simple cancellation. As a final resort, I left the router at the Kolobade store and informed them I consider the service cancelled, as MTN has effectively made it impossible to comply with their own contradictory and unclear procedures. The shop assistant’s complaint that they could not accept the router only highlights the core problem: MTN’s left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Customers should not be caught in the middle of this internal chaos. I strongly advise potential customers to think twice. If this is how they handle cancellations, it reflects a deeper issue with their customer service and operational reliability.
